Wall Mounted Flagpoles Caution
This year I have witnessed a issue with the design of two separate jobs where wall mounted poles were used in conjunction with ground-mounted poles. In both cases, the ground-mounted flagpoles were flying the US flag. However, the wall-mounted poles were to be located in such a way that the flags would be flying higher than the US flag.
The problem became noticeable on one job when the supplier was finalizing details out on their order with us. We were able to correct this problem with the Architect before the flagpoles were manufactured and shipped. However, on the other job, the problem became apparent only after the poles were located and mounted.
Morgan Francis will start incorporating a caution into its literature in hopes of alleviating this problem.
